Ok after more research and talking on other forums I think I found the right place to buy. The kit comes heated and vented and looks fairly easy to install. I will post something in the DYI section once I buy it and install it.

those look pretty good, cheap too. I thought if I am gonna disassemble my seats I might as well add the vented part.

If your gonna spend $200 and try and fit and wire up an aftermarket heated seat kit into you 2012 truck, why not just get the Mopar OEM kit for $70 more that is all plug'n'play?

Here shows you all of whats included:

You are right but I believe I read in a few other forums that adding OEM heated seats would require a dealership to flash the computer which I cant imagine is free. The more I have read the more it makes sense to add both while I have the seats broken down. So far I haven't found a kit from MOPAR that included heated and vented in the same package. I could image that it would be like the heated seats and cost about the same.....I don't know I haven't found one yet I could be wrong. Going aftermarket will only cost 360.00 for the two front seats for heated and vented.

There are few sites that sell aftermarket heated and vented systems. I am still researching which one is the best for the money. If you do a google search you will find the ones I am talking about. So far the best systems I have found in other forums i.e. the mini cooper forums....

Adding the Mopar seat heat kit does not require a reflash. It is basically an aftermarket setup that just plugs in to the cigarette lighter circuit. Installed mine 4 years ago and it works great.
