I have the same truck 2014 Ram 1500 4x4 with the 3.55 and I have been looking for a older front diff and found 1 from a 2009 Ram 1500 4x4 with 3.92 gears with 60000 miles on it. I was going to put 4.56 gears in it but the rear 3 hole mount on it is straight up and down and my 2014 rams is angled. Everything else lines up except that 1 rear mount. I'm looking into a different bracket maybe but there is really no info or pictures about any 09 -2014 trucks

I think only on express and lower trim. Or with the 3.6

Yes in 14 they offered 4.10 (R/T) 3.92, 3.55, and 3.21. Not sure which trans those match up to but I have a 14 express blackout edition that has the hemi, 6 spd auto and 3.21 axle. It's a reg cab shortbed 4x4. I think you can get any axle and tranny combo except a 6 spd with 4.10 since I think it's just the R/T that has 4.10s and it's only an 8spd.

Probably more 2014 1500 rams with 3.55s than any other gear ratio. 3.92s were offered but sometimes hard to find and 3.21s with the 8 speed tranny was the other option from Dodge....and yes 4.10 in some RTs

I beg to differ with your opinion. When I was shopping for my 2014 hemi 1500 I saw 3.55s on the majority of the trucks that I looked at and many more that I really wasn't interested in. Had to have the truck I bought with 3.92s brought in from another dealer, so 3.55s were probably the prominent gear offered in 2014 in ram 1500 hemi trucks

Could be the area your in too. I saw more 3.92s than 3.55s but I'm in a horse trailer and camper pulling area with more diesel trucks so a 3.92 ram would sell more here. Plus 6800ft takes away power so you would want a better ratio for pulling.

That's a possibility, and I'm only at 700-1000 ft above sea level here, but this area was covered up with 3.55 trucks

Yeah I'm around colorado springs but am higher than the city. I'm probably at about 7200 ft. Altho my truck is a 3.21 axle, it was the only one that had it but mostly because it's a reg cab shortbed probably. But I only saw 2 crew cabs that were a 6spd and only a handful of 3.55s in all. I would have loved a 3.92 or 3.55 but oh well... i learned on my ford forum I belong to that general rule of thumb is an 18% loss at 6000ft so I should be sitting around 325hp or so here. Want to get a tuner since I had one on my f150 and know how much the difference is....but want to wait a few years til my warranty is up plus I have my tuner still but I have to get it unlocked since I traded my truck in with the tune on it. DUH!

Also i used to live in PA (about 700ft) and after moving I went back twice on vacation with my f150. First time without tuner, 2nd time with it. With it in my 08 V6 I kept a 6.0 sierra Denali from being able to get by me. He was riding my *** for miles in a one lane construction area that I was already going 55 in a 35 zone so when it turn into 2 lanes I let him have it and kept playing with him for 10 miles. Thing had some ***** out there. Nowhere near my ram of course but it would get up and go for what it was. Raced a 96 360 ram reg cab shortbed at the track in Ohio and beat him by .2 and almost 5mph....before the tune.
