Ok Ram fans, need some advise/input. Over the last few days have been wracking my brain about projector headlights. My 2013 does not have them and had seen Spyder Headlights on CARID.com, not to bad of a price but after looking at other sites for reviews, a mix of different vehicles, there just seems to be a plethora of negative comments of which most have to do with not fitting exactly like stock. Too narrow in height or too long and over hang.


The wiring of the halo/LED's kind of freaks me out but will come to that in due course if the purchase is made.


Anyone have comments about this brand of projector or another brand(s)?

I read all the same types of things. I went with ANZOUSA u-shaped halos (was tired of seeing the double projector look). They won't fit like factory, but it's really not all that noticeable either. The one thing that IS true is the line it projects on the horizon. Annoying, but a trade-off for better looking lights. The lights that look like stock, but with a black housing might be better if it would bother you. There was no change in wiring. Just take regular bulbs out (keep reverse bulbs in place) and use socket to adapt to LED's.

 

Sorry, posted that wrong. That last part was for tail lights. No wiring change for headlights either.

 

Thanks for info, after thinking long and hard about the costs and appearance, I thing I am just going to stick with stock, save up my dollars for the procharger that I want.

 

Better save for a new transmission then too, cant really do one without the other

 

Yeap, that was a major consideration not to go with it. Did get a quote installed for about 8700. Blew me away.
