You're a perfect example of why I never come to this site.

As you said, every truck is different, MY truck wasn't even level with a 2.5" front spacer...so clearly the measurements on a truck with airbags are different from that of a truck without.

OP, I agree Mr. Sensitive...go with your gut and get it done.
And that's what I'm doing.

Your eye isn't really going to notice 1/2" across the length of about 8 feet, it may appear level but it's not. Now, with airbags, the stock height is different from that of a truck without them, so yes, a 2" kit will "level" the truck. Again it comes down to details that are key to answering the questions at hand, but are typically left out.

Does your truck have airbags in the back?

You're probably right.

I just put a tape measure on mine, 2014 1500 Express 4x4. From pavement to the middle of the wheel well arch 37" front, 40" back. I lined the tape up with the center caps. I'm pretty confident in my measurements. I'm ordering Day star 2.5 tomorrow. I don't think .5" rake will be discernable to the naked eye. I'll measure when it's on and report back for ****s and giggles.

Maybe it is just me but really have not seen any level issues on my 13 Express. First time I have seen talk about the subject when most of the time it is all about lift kits (my son want me to lift a 2wd).
BTW, I really love my Ram

On my 2012 Express QC when I did the 2.5 up front with the 3/4 in the back, here were the measurements. The rear spacer was just enough to help remove the feeling of being "nose up" after the front spacer was put in.

Before:
Right Front: 36-1/4"
Left Front: 36"
Right Rear: 39-3/4"
Left Rear: 39"

After:
Right Front: 38-1/2"
Left Front: 38-1/2"
Right Rear: 40-1/4"
Left Rear: 39-3/4"

I don't have an updated picture.. but I did a 3" front leveling kit with a 1" rear spacer... the truck now sits perfectly level... prior to the install I took measurements from the ground to the center of the wheel well and there was a 2.5" difference front to back.. typically a 2.5" leveling kit should completely level the truck... i wanted a little more room for some 35-12.5 tires... so i opted for a 3" front and 1" rear... I'll get some picutres updated sometime!

Default 2.5 leveling kit, plus a three inch body lift

I went with a 2.5 leveling kit and a 3 nch body lift. I was going to put larger tires too, however i traded my ram 1500 2013 for a ram 1500 2015. Everyone loved the look of the truck.....my 2006 ram 1500 had a 2.5 lift too...hope the picks load. The truck in the second pic was the look i was going for, sorry to include it.
