Default Most expensive oil change I’ve ever had

I took my faithful 2012 Ram 1500 in for an oil change today after work as my dealer actually has a pretty good deal when you buy for at once. You really can’t beat the price. I ended up looking at what they had on the lot and they had a 2016 1500 Big Horn quad cab optioned out exactly as I would want the truck if I bought it new, and it only had 12800 miles on it. Well once I sat in the truck and took it for a drive I knew I wanted it. Bob and Chuck Eddy Dodge Ram Chrysler and Fiat gave me a good offer on my 2012 considering it has over a 150000 miles on it and is a base St with a Hemi. So I got a good deal on the 2016 and ended up getting the lifetime warranty on it also. I couldn’t beat the warrant for what it cost a month. I honestly really loved my 2012 and it has been a great truck. It never left me stranded or gave me any trouble.

While I admit I am somewhat sad about getting ride of my 2012 since it’s been such a great vehicle the 2016 is exactly what I have wanted. My salesman Rick was great to work with as well as the finance lady, who was abley to save me over $20 a month on the warranty. I really hope the 2016 will be everybit as great as the 2012 was.

My old 2012 and the new 2016.
The new to me 2016.
The interior of the 2016.

Erm, I know oil changes are a maintenance item, and it's good to change it regularly, but, don't you think that was just a bit over the top?

Congrats on the new Ride!

Well done, i have tried to talk my wife into the same thing with her 2011 but she is car loyal for some reason and prefers to wait 10-11 years and get a new one. We also purchase the 3-4 oil change specials and have lifetime warranty. It's been reliable too although both services have come in handy.
