Default Why are the heated seats barely warm on high setting?

Just bought a New 2500 Laramie 2017. The heated seats should not be called heated seats but a spot warmer. After 2 days of owning the truck, I called and said I don't think these seats are heating. I was told "they get this all the time". I guess there was some law that was passed about how warm the heated seats could get. So if this is the max heat Dodge is allowed by law to heat there seats...than why even have the damn thing installed? Seriously its a joke. I have a heat temperature gauge and when I test the seat I just sat in for 20 mins with no heat on and the other seat on high setting with no passenger ...my seat is warmer! Why can I sit in a friends Chevy 2017 and Actually feel the heated seat and the entire seat, not just a spot. Does Chevy have different laws for their heated seat temperatures?

I notice that if the passenger seat is turned on and no passenger is in the seat then the warmer will turn itself off in short order... 2014 Big Horn the drivers seat is comfortable on high... but I do truly love the heated steering wheel

my wife's new 2018 Nissan Rogue heated driver's seat will get so warm in 5 minutes that I turn it off...

Hi Truckoverload,

If you decide to take it into the dealership, let us know. We can get this over to a Case Specialist for further handling while in service.
