plastic engine cover 2016 big horn 1500

Default plastic engine cover 2016 big horn 1500

hey guys
just bought a 2016 1500 big horn 4x4 and i`ve been searching the forum on removing the plastic engine cover...i like seeing the engine, not a chunk of plastic...what are the forums thoughts on removing said cover ? pros and cons ?
tried searching this forum but cant seem to find anything...thanks joel

Pretty ugly underneath. Manufacturers decided it was cheaper to put a cheap plastic cover on top instead of making the components/wiring underneath look good. Won't hurt anything to remove it.

I think the covers are nice looking and keep the top of the engine clean of debris. They probably help with the injector clicking noise. One thing is though, one should pop it off once in a while, I found a rat nest under mine this early spring. no damage found
