What can I expect changing from stock tires to E or 10 ply?
New to the forum.
I just got my 2010 Ram Sport 5.7 2wd single cab with 98,000 miles.
It had 22” wheels on it when I got it, so I found some stock 2019 like new take offs for cheap. Tires on the 2019 wheels are stock Goodyear SR Wranglers size 275/60/20 and probably have half tread at best. The Goodyear’s gave the truck a much better ride.
I found a set of Michelin LTX A/T2 for cheap with only 200 miles on them. They are take offs from a Stock Ford f 350 size 275/65/20.
My question is, will these fit my truck?
And what kind of ride difference can I expect?
I was going to put theses on until I realized they were 10 ply after I bought. I do realize there is a difference in the middle number from 60 to 65 which will increase height I believe. I like a smooth and comfortable ride. Don’t really haul much to date.
Just got a super deal on the Michelin tires and not wanting to give up a good ride if it is going to be drastically different.
Any advise would be welcome. Thanks
