Default Looking to lower about 3 inches but not level her

I want to lower my 2010 1500 crew cab, but I don't want to level her (I like the slightly dipped forward stance). Problem is, I can't find any kits that do that. I don't want to bag her, as I live in an area that gets pretty cold in the winter. Does anyone have any suggestions? She needs a suspension refresh, so it's the perfect time.

Another one. What the hell do we have for body mounts? I can't find any info on our gen body mounts. It seems as though they may have some sort of different system?

That complicates matters..... Why do you want to lower a 4x4?? Most folks want to go the other direction....

Torsion bar front suspension?

No torsion bar.

I don't really have any use for a lift. I'm not really a fan of them anyway.

I took her years ago to a race class thing at ProFormance in Kent, Wa. She did good, but got floaty at higher speeds.
Since then, I have completely replaced her intake and exhaust. Better CAI with better air flow, ported throttle body, long tube ceramic headers, slightly better cats, good cat back and a programmer from Hemifever. I'm probably going to get their MSD as well. Steel braided brake lines and slotted rotors as well. I want to take her back to on the track, here and there, locally. Our track is open and running again. I'd like to drag her a bit as well.

I don't really off road with her anymore. 4wd is used mainly in the winter...and to pull people out of the snow on the side of the road. A 3 inch drop isn't going to affect that. It should help handling though.

I just went on a trip from Wa to MN and back. Handling was decent at 85/86, but could be better. Those brake upgrades saved us from hitting a deer on the way there, and on the way back.

She is my daily, though I don't drive a whole lot. Aside from that she is used for moving stuff for friends/family, dump runs, towing a small trailer for dump runs, hauling bikes for mountain biking, towing people here and there (enough times that I keep tow straps under the back seats).

I was honestly going to get the EV Ram. However, we just had to replace our roof, HVAC unit and hot water heater. The trip to MN was expensive as well. I had to take out a 2nd mortgage to fund it all (though Tricare should refund most of the MN trip). The trip had me realize that the EV Ram wouldn't work for longer trips. There is a possibility I may have to go back to MN at least once again. We also passed a lot of stuff we wanted to stop and see, but we'd have to sight hop. Hit one place, stay, travel a max of about 4 hours to another, etc. We'd use a pop up for it. An EV just wouldn't fit that, as the charging infrastructure isn't even remotely there yet. There wasn't even one in the MN hotel, and that had been built only 2 years ago (it was a really nice hotel too). I really didn't want to part with Hemrietta anyway, even getting the EV.

I'll be doing a refresh on her. She needs a new paint job, I need to replace door seals. Her suspension is in need of a replacement, so perfect time to lower her if I can get the stuff to do it. The bushings and such are getting close and I have a creak when I hit speed bumps and things like that which I believe is from that. There are a few other things that need done too. I am also debating on transmission component upgrades. They'd help towing and on the track. She had a noticeable delay when flooring it on turn out, especially when turn out transitioned to up hill. I did notice it in the passes of Idaho, even programmed to 91 octane, but it wasn't as bad (though I wasn't exactly pushing her to racing extremes). Reading up on her transmission, this seems to be one of the drawbacks of it. The upgrades should get rid of that delay and extend the life of the transmission. I'm **** retentive on the maintenance on her. I'm original owner (bought her in Sept 2010 with 25 miles on her) and I've done all the maintenance on her myself, with the exception of recalls. I even have maintenance logs with date, mileage, part numbers and engine hours. So she should last me a very long time. More so after I get her refreshed again.

I don't think you find a lowering 'kit' for it.... Might try experimenting with different spring rates in front, and depending on shackle placement on the rear, longer shackles may work there.

No leafs in the rear. It's a shock spring and coil system. I'll have to do some digging around and see what I find. My biggest issue is that the kits I do find want to significantly lower the rear to make both front and rear level. For example, I see mostly a 2/4 or 3/5 kit.
