There's two tears in this picture, one more pronounced than the other, total they are about 3 inches long. This is for a 2016 Ram 1500 with only about 35k miles on it.

I've googled this, and saw some advice for tears at the seams, but not for a tear like this. I'm curious if there are any recommended do it yourself fixes for this, or if I"m better off paying a professional? Also, should I have been using conditioner on this from time to time to keep it from drying out?

Have a chat with a local upholstery shop..... If it were cloth, I'd say just sew it up...

I had several tears like this in the leather of my 2010 2500 and repaired them so they don't even show - Got this off of Amazon -
Biggest challenge is taking the time mixing the colors to get the exact match. Good luck.
