Here is what I have been up to. Took a long time, but it is worth it.

i want to paint mine black inside, how difficult is to to get the headlights out and apart? do they seal watertight when you put them back together?

 

TO answer your question, they are HARD to get apart. Took me almost 3 hours for the first one and almost 2 hours for the second (learning curve). They seal back to factory using black windshield sealant. It the same thing you are trying to bake out when seperating them.


More pics. Changed the grill and painted the emblem. Fogs are next.












Also masked off, cut out and painted the ram's head that is onthe front windshield from the factory.
