Questions??
Hey guys, Im new here. I work for Chrysler a s a test driver/inspection of Dodge Rams. Any questions you guys have I can give it a shot. I have been heavily involved with the program. Oh ya , great forum by the way, i have been reading for a few days now and everyone seems really nice and knowledgable.
It is going to be late release, I believe, because it is coming from St. luois and their retooling is taking longer than ours in Michigan (Warren). Stamping issues, stuff like that. It was a major retooling effort for the 09 model.
Are there going to be any performance upgrades or OEM/aftermarket parts available by the launch date? I was just down at my local dodge dealer and saw that they have already made a few things/upgrades for the 09' challengers so I'm hoping it's going to be the same for the 09' rams too....
Sorry, Ive been busy lately. BTW, Chryslers words not mine.

As for oem aftermarket parts i have seen a few things, nothing fancy but unfortunatly I cant talk about some of that kind of stuff yet. We were forced to keep alot hush hush even about the new looks of the ram for over 3 yrs now. I'm not personally involved with the o.e.m. stuff though, So I really have no idea what to expect. They have been talking about some one off sema trucks though, and they usually end up very well equiped.
I'll tell ya what this truck is very nice, everything is thought out well, dual coolers in the floor boards. speakers in the roof liner, 120v dash outlet. All things that will be standard in vehicles soon enough but it is a huge jump from the 3rd gen trucks.
