09 coil springs
And if you need to ask who needs to go 100mph in a truck you sure as hell aint from texas.
the coils do not negatively affected its load same as 08 plus humvee use coils they weigh with up armor over 10000lbs!!!!! and so do trains and like some1 said they could have added over load springs but its a half-ton y do some people complain that te 09 has coils who uses a halfton to tow even 50% of the time if u do then step up to a heavy duty and stop complaining 9000lbs is good enough we take for granted that number and dont stop to realize how much mass it really is
Im serious on that part most texans are several generation truck owners towards a certain brand every night if im not the one showing my *** you see other trucks flying past you on the highway, cause no ones going to back down and everyone has a feirce brand loyalty.
The only time anyone goes the speed limit is if their drunk or if a troopers sitting on the side of the road people dont even slow down if their driving with us on the highway anymore and the troopers dont do anything lol unless your about 18 miles over the speed limit or in a town which I dont really have a problem with.

FYI, the up armored humvees have a completely upgraded suspension.
As for brand loyalty, I swore I'd never own a chrysler product(former pt cruiser owner), but...I couldn't resist a truck that drives like a car, 390 hp, sits high(2 back surgeries), and looks Damn good.

Being a newbie, Im not trying to pick sides, but our up-armored and double up-armored humvees look to have the same exact coils as the non armored humvees with fiberglass doors when parked side by side. Just sayin...
No arguement from my end.... I've been working with these frag 5 kits and suspensions for the past year as a quality assurance inspector & COR, active duty military.
I'm actually sitting in the USO at Atlanta waiting for my final leg of my return flight to El Paso, TX
---my year is done, hopefully the last deployment before I retire.
