ERS system
I know Im not the sharpest tool in the shed but I thought the ERS was just a jumble of words they put together to describe dodge's manual auto trans option on the new shifters, but in fact it was this whole other entity in its self.
I posted a while back on the shifting capabilities the salesmen and I both thought you had to shift it like a standard tranny I was even taking my foot off the gas when i shifted lol.
When in fact going through my book I found out its what it says it limits the highest gear in which your transmision goes up to but the transmission cycles itself,
now this brings up an interesting point in preformance driving would cutting the tranny to 4 gears be a negative or positive since its a five speed and the 5th gear is your overdrive gear or would it cause damage to the engine limiting it to 4 at high speeds either way when you reach the highest rpm's it throws the throttle controller on you or you just shift it up to 5 again.
