Canadians get all the luck. Don't get to say that too often, LOL. Dealer here wants 278.00 for the body matched grills. I think I am going to order mine next payday.

My dealer threw in the color match grille, and black inserts with my deal. Looks way better than the chrome.

 

I don't mind the chrome grille, but I do want to get rid of the chrome inserts. Did you get the billet horizontal bar or black honeycomb? Do you have any part numbers?

 

Anyone know what the latest status is on grille color on Sport models? I just ordered a Sport crew cab and I'm counting on it having the body color grille. My dealer assures me it will be body color based on the info they could find, but I'm not all that confident in their source of info. Just wanted to check here in case I need to have them make an adjustment to the order or something.

All the research I've done points to the fact that there is absolutely no specific answer. Sometimes they are body colored with billet inserts and sometimes they are Laramie chrome/chrome versions. I'm hoping someone can prove that wrong and show me a definite answer.

seems like if your from canada you'll moat likely get the body color and if from usa you'll get the laramie chrome grille

 

My R/T has the painted grill

 

Dr. Bill if you like the chrome grill (which I do as well) see what the chrome frame looks with the black mesh seen on the R/T. That might look very good, chrome yet subtle enough to look good on a color matched sport.
