I do not know if smoothbassman has a lockpick.
I do know I do NOT have a Lockpick.
Mine is stock and cuts out pretty regularly.
Something is not right. My dealer was supposed to return my call but never did.
I doubt they have an answer yet.

Blue2050, is yours on Satellite Radio when it cuts out? Mine cuts out if I have it on satellite and I get under something.

Okay, good info. The audio off of a DVD cut out once during my drive home. The satellite radio does cut out occasionally. Bridges and urban areas. Keep us aprised of what the dealer says. You dealer is not returning calls because they are likely working on their resumes right now.

It cuts off under anything when on sat radio.
That I expect that now as I said earlier, its weak.
The problem is it cutting off when only the open sky is overhead.

As I aslo said before it like the navi lady is about to cut in then decides she has nothing to say.
I havn't looked into this hard enough. I wonder if cell phones in nearby cars are messing with my system...but really I have no idea.

Resume, funny. I asked that fellow taking my money trying to sell me warranty what good would 10 years 100,000 miles be....really. He assured me Dodge would still be here.
I hope so.

FYI: I just got off the phone with Costal (LockPick) and they were extremely helpful. Since I am not in my truck today I am going to call them tonight about the problem but they believe it may be a issue with one of the DIP switches.

So I am curious if you are having the problem do you:

Have a LockPick?
Have VES?
Have the Uconnect?

Those seem to be the relitive issues from Coastal.

I'll let you know what I find.

My only issue is the CD player goes into a rapid fire repeating of digital bits. Usually corrects itself but is anoying.

I stopped by the dealer to see what was up. They are going to do an update of the Navigation unit for me on Thursday to see if that solves the issue.

I have a Lockpick as well and my unit did the same thing before I installed the Lockpick. So I'm no convinced that its related. Could be though. If this update doesn't fix it. I'm going to disconnect the Lockpick over the weekend and test it. I need to install my iPod charge cord behind the dash anyways.

"MisterScott" did you just recently install the Lockpick? Wonder if this does seem to be the cause if they have a firmware update on it to solve the issue.

When the audio cuts out, how long does it stay off? I'm assuming it comes back on huh?
