Default Navigation Question???

Is there any way to watch Dvd's while I'm driving? I know there's a wire out there but I'm not sure if it will work on the 09's. I hate to buy it for $300 and it doesn't work.

Is there any other way to do this.

Thanks.

Default LocPick is the Trick

I scooped a LockPick as well. Mine works perfectly. It gives you a set of inputs and outputs as well. I hooked my inputs up to my iPod so now I can watch video from my iPod on the Head Unit.

This summer I will be installing two more Screens in the headrests for my kids.

Where did you pick up the rear camera from and how much was it if you don't mind me asking? Waiting for Dodge.ca to put the rear camera up on the website to confirm it availability in Canada is killing me.

Thanks guys. I ordered mine Friday. I ordered the MyGig one, I hope that's the right one. It looks just like the one I got.

The cameras are on the bottom of this page.

I got my rear camera off ebay for 30 bucks man.

I got a rear license plate version and mounted it to my license plate.

The camera from Dodge was over 200 and it doesn't even have night vision! Plus the one I got has a huge field of vision way bigger than the dodge version.

I installed it myself in about 30 minutes. The hardest part was getting the leads into the cabin. Found an access point right under the drivers seat. Pulled it up thru there right into the center console under the carpet.

Would you be able to send me a link to the seller and model #?

Thanks

Here is the rear camera that I purchased. It was at my house 3 days after buying it. It works great. Plus it has a quick disconnect in the wiring so it it breaks you can just get another one and plug it in.

I wired mine to the trailer hitch harness so all I had to pull was the video line up to the cabin.

Thats pretty cool, where does it display, on the nav screen? Are there special ports on the nav system for the BU camera?

It displays on the navigation screen when you shift into reverse.

I can also display it by pressing down on the uConnect button to check on my trailer while I'm towing it or watch tailgaters!

I wired it into my lockpick. But there is a wiring harness you can get from Dodge for the installation of a camera if you don't have a lockpick. It plugs right into the back of the radio, and that activates the camera option in your navigation menu.
