I have just bought a 2009 Dodge Ram 1500 TRX4 Crew Cab and I have noticed that the rear A/C vents (on the back of the center console) are extremely weak. Even when I turn the A/C on Max and select the upper vents only, it still blows very gently. I can barely feel it if I put my hand against the vents. Does anyone else have this problem? Or is this just they way they are? Thanks

I sat in the back seat and looked at them. There is a flap in them that you can open or close. Did you make sure the flap is all the way open?

I made sure the vents were open. I guess that is just how they were designed. Thanks for the help

Mine are also very very weak. Even on the max settings the vents can barely be felt.

Ya, even though I already have an '09, I went with my friend this weekend to test drive some '09 Crew Cabs and they all did the same thing. Very weak in the back seat. This is just the way they are made.

Mine are very weak also. You would think if Dodge was going to go to the trouble and cost of providing rear air, they would make them work alittle better. If not, maybe it is money wasted. I have the 09 crew, does the 09 quad have vents for the rear?

No vents in the back of the Quad Cabs.

Weak rear vents.
Just bought an 09 crew, yup the rear vents are weak. It gets better with the controls set to vent versus floor. The manual also recommends diverting the front vents to the rear to improve circulation.
