RRT was released yesterday. parts are on backorder, and may be for a little while. repair involves replacing washer and AAT sensors, install overlay harness, and blow out wiring at TIPM. RRT notice does not say how many vehicles are affected, just "a number of vehicles were shipped..."

luckily mine gets the fix...when we get parts. your dealers will be able to tell you if your vehicle qualifies or not. hope this helps for anyone affected by it, or wondering whats going on.

Thanks for the info Savage. For all of us with the OAT problems, the fix is at your dealership. It is RRT 09-010 and involves replacing the fluid level sensor and wiring harness in your windshield wash bottle. The fluid leaks into the sensor causing a low volt short. I had mine fixed yesterday and so far it is working fine. You do not need to replace the TIPM module.

my parts were ordered early last week, got here that friday. not bad for being on backorder, and coming up to alaska. had it fixed monday. mine wasnt acting up, but the TIPM connector terminals were corroding, some arent part of the RRT. my buddy did the nice thing and replaced all the corroded ones.

UPDATE: Mine worked for one day. I just went out to my truck and the OAT showed 58 degrees. It obviously was hotter than that so I watch the gauge and sure enough after about 10 minutes, it starts counting up one degree at a time until it reaches 79 degrees. I can't believe this crap. At this time, I would have to say "no fix".

Mine started doing the same thing last week. I have some other work going on with my truck tomorrow and asked them to get that addressed.

I just called my service writer and told him that my OAT still does not work properly. He looked up the latest opinion from Chrysler on their service website. The latest statements are that it is normal for the OAT to take "several" minutes to show the correct temp. It will display the last temp that it had in its memory until it updates. It also stated that if you drive short distances, that the gauge may not have enough time to display the correct temp. This is a bunch of crap. I have had 6 different vehicles with OAT displays and they show immediately what the OAT is the second you turn the key on, including my last 3 Mopar products. They said the fix RRT 09-010 was for readings that were way off and NEVER returned to the proper temp after several minutes. I can't believe that it is normal to have to wait 10-15 minutes to know the OAT.

After a day and a half still good, it does take a little time for it to count down to the proper temeperature, my 2006 Charger R/T does the same thing. After about 15 min utes it seems fairly accurate on both.
