I have an '09 ram 1500 crew cab 4x4. Is there a good way to lower it 2 to 4 inches without any negative consequenses?

I want to put a ladder rack on it and still be able to fit into the 7' tall automatic car wash.

Screwed up alignment, harsh ride, etc. are not OK.

I'm sure in a few months there will be a new spring set available online that you can get to pull that off. You will need to adjust the camber of your front wheels to keep them flat on the road surface since the front is IFS. Some spacer might get that done pretty simply.

Just keep an eye on the aftermarket scene. You should see some stuff soon.
