Not sure if this is the right place in the forum to bring this up but I was wondering...I have the black honeycomb grill insert and was looking to purchase a chrome honeycomb grill insert as found on the Laramies.

Does anybody that has chrome insert wanna trade for a black one? Figured I'd check before I ordered it.

Heck, I paid $15K more just for the chrome and you want to trade. You gotta bring some $$$$. I are looking for either the black honeycomb or the bar. I have a sport and the chrome inserts are too much with a monocolor truck. The 3rd gen was easy to change out, the 4th may be a little harder since the grille does not come up.

 

The chrome honeycomb is part# 82211742 and sells for about $160.00. The chrome bar is 82211741, same price.

 

You paid $15K more for the chrome??!!! Wow, your dealer raped you good. I'm just seeing if someone wants to swap inserts, not sure what bar you are referring to.

I changed inserts on my Charger a while back and someone was looking for the one I had, unfortunately I had already purchased the insert so I was **** out of luck for making a trade, anyway, I just figured I'd give it a shot, not trying to screw anybody over - especially you and your $15,000 chrome!

 

I am just jacking you around. The $15K is the price of the Laramie over the other trucks that don't have the chrome inserts. That is how I figure the price of the inserts from the factory!

If you want the black honeycomb, I could not find the part number, but a dealer's parts dept could with no problem. The bar grille is the horizontal billet look.
