I purchased my 09 Friday and the dealer was pretty busy, so maybe it will turn around.

I have not seen that many new trucks period on the road no matter what the make. My wife and I did buy a Ram last week. Dodge had the best offer as we looked a Ford and Chevy. Maybe after filing taxes things will pick up.

When I bought my 09 Ram at the end of January the dealership was packed. The employee price and all the other incentives was definitely bringing people in to the showrooms. I even had to wait 30-40 minutes for one of the finance people to finish with customers ahead of me. As far as the new 09's though, I live in St. Louis and have only seen 5 or 6 since they have been out. At least in the areas I drive around. Considering they are actually made here it's a little surprising. You see a bunch of the previous generation Rams.

I haven't seen that many new 09's in my area either, but when I bought my truck in Nov the dealer was very busy. Not one free sales person that I could tell. When I left late in the afternoon about 4:30pm, they still had quite a few customers there. I do think most were there looking at the 08's though since the deals on them were so damn good. On my recent drive to Houston and back I didn't see another 09 Dodge truck in the whole 400 mile round trip. Jeff.

capsfloyd, if you're asking me, I bought from Bluebonnet in New Braunfels. I only live a few miles from them. Bought my last 2 trucks from Lawrance Marshall and was working with them on this one also but decided that I should just buy close this time. Glad I did as LM went out of business a couple of weeks ago. Jeff.

I'm from Welfare which is 45 minutes from Boerne....

And dealerships are dead around here, i've only seen 2 new rams on the island and maybe 4 new trucks, 2 were yotas.... When i went to the dealership i was treated like royalty, the entire staff was at my service.... lol

Bigred3297, I used to work in Boerne back in the 80's and one rainy day I went down to the Dodge dealer just to look around. I was driving my 83 RamCharger back then and I'm telling you those guys were great. They begged me to trade up for a new Ram and I would have if I'd had any money. How about the Jennings Anderson Ford out there on
IH10? They really got to be hurting. I usually only buy from small towns as it seems the people are friendlier and the dealers offer better deals. I bought my 90 Dakota from Brown Dodge in Devine. They've really grown and the last couple times I've been to the ranch I haven't seen hardly anyone at their dealership. I hope some of these dealerships make it through the bad times and their are some that really need to close down. I pretty much stay away from any dealership in the San Antonio city limits, to me almost all of them are crooks. Jeff.

Thier are swarms of 09 Rams on dealer lots in Calgary Alberta, my girl friend and I, have come to close to buying one, but until a dealer come's close to accpeting are offer, we wait.

Have not seen the 09 with the Ram box's yet, more incentive for waiting. I'm just along for the ride, wife wants the 09 Ram, I admit I don't mind driving the 09 Ram ( to the car wash ) but I have no intentions of replacing my 2500.
