Thanks for the review. May need to get those for the H3 when the wife's pregnant, but I don't plan on putting any on the truck b/c I don't want to give up the clearance (same thing with the H3, but she'll need to be able to get in & out, at least it will only be temporary).

looking at the photos.....how much clearance is actually between the bar and the frame/body? in the 3rd photo, it looks pretty close, like it might actually rub.....

they don't rub. there is at least 1" of clearance from the bar to the body and there is play in the mounts to give you a little more.

Default NEED an update

I just ordered a set of these bars. Was wondering if there are any updates on them. Paid $214.00 with free shipping and I will keep everyone up to date on this event. I will also post before and after pics.
wish me luck.

Hey has anyone tinted the windows yet? If so how dark did you go? Post pics please. I have a white quad sport and I am unsure yet how dark to go.

You'd be better off starting your own thread for that question

Mine are doing just fine. There are some slight marks around the steps, where my muddy/snowy/etc foot has missed the step, but other than that, they are still great! I now have 2000 miles on mine.

With these steps, you really can't beat 214$ shipped.

There's a company on Ebay selling the same bars for around $150 + $30 or so shipping. Look for the one located in Lancaster, PA. Extremely reputable; they are in my neighborhood. I picked mine up from them in person for $125 cash.

As far as clearance, I don't know how you folks step in with your toes towards the truck. I put my right heel on the bar (toes out) and back into the seat. It's too awkward stepping in feet first.
