2010 HD Press Release
The 2010 HD's have ben released on www.Dodge.ca im guessing probably on dodge.com too .They're looking pretty nice.
that was a good article. they new styling looks so good, i love the new 2500 styles as well. id like to see more of the heavy duties on the road and less fords, maybe this will open peoples eyes more to dodge.
I think dropping the quad cab is a mistake. The 6'3'' bed on the crew will make the truck too long for most standard garages. IMO, there are a lot of people that like the Cummins in a smaller truck than what is now offered. I'm kinda bummed.
It also says power wagon will return for 2010. We'll see.
Bill, the crew cab is only what like 3 inches longer than quad. You might be able to get a cummins in a 1500 in about two years though. 1500 is still available with reg, quad, and crew cabs.

You are talking about the 2500 right? I know in the 09 1500's the Crew Cab models are actually 1.5" shorter overall than a Quad Cab model.
Section from Allpar talking about the Cummins light duty engine and the hybrid engine. Looks like 2010 model year will be big for the Ram if Chrysler can survive that long.
"The big news will be a new turbodiesel from Cummins, showing up in 2010; it will greatly increase low-end torque while slashing gas usage by nearly a third and reducing carbon dioxide emissions by 20%, compared to a similar gas engine. The Cummins diesel will meet 50-state emissions standards for 2010.
The Ram Hybrid is on the way, with gas mileage rivalling mid-size sedans." http://www.allpar.com/model/ram/dodg...owertrain.html
