Default Any true dual catback exhausts for 09'???

Has anyone seen any true dual catback exhaust systems for the 09' 5.7L. I see that DynoMax has a new exhaust, but it's built just like the dual exhaust from Dodge...2 pipes from the headers into 1 pipe to muffler, dual out of the muffler over the axle and out.

I was thinking I could take the header pipes into a dual intake muffler, then dual out over the axles to the tail. Only problem is everything has to run down the passenger side. Any thoughts???

Havent seen any like that but i have the 2 from the headers going into one, then to the flowmaster original 40, and dualed out from there and it's pretty d@mn loud, i had to have something and thought true duals would be too much work for not much more gain in volume if any because the way i see it is i have 2 pipes being muffled by 1 muffler instead of 2 pipes being muffled by 2 mufflers...... i dont know though maybe it is louder but for now this works for me.....o and my truck was single piped before and not dual

Gr8, this is exactly what I did on my 99 QC. Came from the factory headers to a dual in dual out high flow cat, into a dual in dual out flowmaster, then dual pipes to the rear axle with 45deg turn downs. Forget which flowmaster but I want to say 70 series, just not sure. Anyway, it all went down the passenger side of the truck and it sounds and runs great. I kept everything up high in the frame so that you can't see the exhaust from outside the truck. And there is very little droan hwy or city. I had them mount the muffler as close to the rear axle as possible so that it would be a little quieter inside the truck. Jeff.

Thanks for the ideas w/the flowmaster. Did you have to modify your own pipe or did it come from a kit?

I took it to my local muffler shop along with the cat and flowmaster and just explained what I was looking for. They fab'd it up along with new hangers. It works great and you really can tell the difference. Make sure they understand that one of the O2 sensors goes in front of the cat and the other behind it. My guy was trying to put them both in back of the cat. The muffler shops employee welders more than mechanics so just watch out that they know what they are doing. Jeff.

A custom setup may very well be cheaper than anything you purchase out of the box. And I second the comment about muffler shop guys being welders and pipe benders, not mechanics.
