The dealer should offer you something for your inconvenience. More importantly, you should ask for something you want.

I'm sure you ordered a truck because dealers in your area did not have what you wanted. You could get your deposit back if your willing to walk, especially since its on a credit card. Do that and they will sweeten the deal.

I didn't have to put any money down to order mine.

Very true. But of course this makes too much sense.

I'd ask nicely for something like steps or a cover - something you want - to compensate you for your trouble, and if they don't agree to it, then tell them you're going to walk and call your credit card to dispute the charge (you can dispute for failure to deliver a product) and then see how they react at that point. And then let us know how it goes.
