Mpg from houston to dallas
Left Dallas on Friday to go to Houston, 218 each way
Going went a lot of back roads , 500 miles on the truck ... set the cruise at 70 avg mpg 16.5
Sunday coming home striaght shot from Cleveland to I 45 and home ,,, set the cruise at 75 ... usally 8 over speed limit
Check the computer 17.5 ... 1100 miles on the truck
The only thing we noticied was a bump sound from the driver's side bed when we would turn [ like a bushing popping] Did not do it all the time ???
Ride is GREAT

You got to break the truck in guys before you even start to notice any mpg increase. I would atleast put 5000miles on the truck before I even start worrying. I am getting 15 right now, but I am not breaking a sweat about it. Just got to let the truck break in. Over on dodge talk guy over there has logged 9,000 miles on his and is getting 19-21mpg. Said he did not notice the increase starting till around 5k.
I'm still breaking in my Ram. Living in a small town, many of my trips are less than 4 miles one way. The engine hardly has time to warm up, especially when the mornings are below freezing. Now that the mornings are starting to warm up, the in town mileage is improving. As someone else has stated, until the hemi is broken in, I am not going to be to concerned about mpg. Right now I'm getting EPA estimate. It will also help once we get rid of winter blend gas and the weather warms up. Besides I did not expect Prius type milage out of the truck. Right now I lost about 4 mpg in city compared to the 06 Tacoma I had, but gained greatly in HP and comfort.
