WOW didn't know I had an audience? Anyway, there is NO DRILLING. I was able to put all the brackets on without touching any power tools.

And as for Running Board Warehouse... yea still waiting on those screws that were overnighted on Fri!!!!5 Inch Running Boards-truck.jpg

Dawg-

They look great! Any word on the screws? I either going to go with Ionic (yours) or Deezee 5". Deezee are more money thought.

I went with the S/S Luverne running boards with 6 1/2" step. They look and work great. Easy to install...no drilling. When the fog lifts here I'll take some pictures.

So they are tight to the body in final position? How much clearance is there?

Looks good, think i am going to buy them, saw some on ebay for cheaper but not for the crew. Didn't mean to rush you, I've been reading the thread and have been curious about them. Thanks for posting the pics, and are they tight to the body? Oh yeah no more blackouts in Ga.

Hows the quality of the materials and do you think there will be any issues down the road with wear and the brackets?

Default Verdict is in!

Alright, finally got the boards on and they look really good. They are very close to the frame so if you don't like that look then you won't like these boards.

The boards are made of plastic and aluminum so there is a little flex when you stand on them. The brackets where pretty easy to put on (once i had all the right bolts) and it took about an hour.

So end result, They look really good, were cheap and convenient but they are not as sturdy as the big metal tube nerf bars. Its really all in what you need them for. If its for looks and so that your wife can get in and out without complaining then Ionic boards are good to go. But if your trucks going to a work site probably should get the metal ones.
