Default No More Hemi?

I Heard from one dealer that the HEMI is not going to continue to be made. I talked to the dealer that I bought my truck off of and he hadn't heard about it. Anybody here anything about this?

Not very likely since it is a very highly rated engine. It is also built in Mexico with lower labor costs than U.S..

The Hemi should be around for quite awhile longer. They have no good reason in the foreseeable future to stop production.

I know they had a hard time adapting the original Hemi design to the one released in 2002 to meet emissions standards. Technically it's not 100% hemispherical, just resembles it now. Anyways, unless they have issues 10 years from now meeting CAFE standards, the Hemi should be here until then (unless Chrysler files Chapter 7).

That dealer you talked to must have been on some good stuff. You should get him to share...
