The 2009 Dodge Ram 1500 Crew Cab Sport with 26L pkg. had the AWD option. This pkg was changed to the 25L pkg. in November and the AWD was dropped. It is now the electronic shift on the fly part time transfer case. The only way to get the AWD is to go to LAramie pkg. You may search for a 26L made prior to November but chances are slim any dealer would have one in stock from November. You may email me at jsquire@samleman.com with any other questions. Window sticker listed it but it was not on the truck!

 

That sounds right because I have the sport and it does not have the AWD position like the truck I test drove so just because it is a sport doesn't guarantee AWD.
