Are you going to use the Auburn or the Detroit locker (Dana)? I have heard that the locker clunks and pops around tight turns. I have also been told that it causes excessive rear tire wear. Any opinions? There is a great video by Dana that shows the benefits of the locker over open and LSD. It was very educational.

I am not sure, but I think the lifetime powertrain warranty applies to the diff. This most likely would void that part of the warranty.

 

It would, but just the parts that were changed. I'm just going with gears, not gonna go crazy with the Locker or stuff like that.

 

My 1999 2500 has a spicer 70 with 3.55 and it is anti spin.
