Mine just froze up this morning on the way to work. My model number is REN. The volume would not change with the **** or the controls on the steering wheel. I was able to change the channels but not the volume. My wife's 2008 town & country does the same thing. These mygig radios sure are nice but they are very unreliable. I can't wait until my warranty runs out. Back to Chevy I guess.

Before they would switch it out I had to video the issue and bring it into the dealer and show them the video because it would never act up when I had time to take it to be serviced.
think ill complain about it next time mines in the shop (most likely to get my seat cover installed). then ill have to put my music on the new one too , got about 1300 songs on it right now.

unfortunately, these kinds of intermittent issues (especially electrical ones) can be very hard to duplicate. at least you were thinking ahead, and got a vid of it.

The lifetime warranty only covers the Powertrain, not the audio system. Everything other than the powertrain is only 3yr 36,000.

Take it back man! The same thing happened to 2 units that were installed in my truck. The new one is working great (So Far) Take a video with your cell phone when it acts up and take it in and show them the video. They have to get you a new one if its under warranty.

Well I disconnected the battery to reset the computer and that worked. Everything is back to normal. Should I bring it back anyway? The service guy were I bought the truck from said to do the battery trick and if that doesnt work then bring it in. It is warranted so thats good.

Thanks,
Brian

Savage-

Is it warrantied already or is that something that you have to do yourself? What im asking is how do I know if its warrantied or not.

Thanks!
