sometimes itll freeze at the end of a song. im only using the HDD on mine, hardly any radio. anyone know if its a soft/firmware issue? anyone else having the same problem?

I have the same problem with my HDD when I'm switching songs. Sometimes it'll even freeze up after playing an entire song, before switching to a new one.

I'm curious; did you download all of your music from CD's or did you dowload them through the USB input?

I'm asking because I "acquired" the majority of my music from a torrent site which I uploaded through USB via cell phone and I'm concerned the problem may be linked to a virus. But hopefully, it's just a dealership-related bug and not the result of dirty pirate hookers.

A "bump" simply moves the thread toward the top of the forum so people see it. Once or twice is usually tolerated. Too many times and people will start to complain.

This shouldn't matter, your computer would be showing signs, it wouldn't affect your truck at all. The program "virus" wouldn't know how to execute on your radio.

Dude, You just need to take it back to the dealer. I am on on 3rd Unit. I had the one with the Navigation and it totally froze on a trip and I didn't know where in the heck I was at. Very frustrating indeed. Just got the 3rd unit installed last week, and it feels much snappier. The firmware version is different as well, I took note of that before the dealer swapped mine.

Before they would switch it out I had to video the issue and bring it into the dealer and show them the video because it would never act up when I had time to take it to be serviced.
