I have a Sport with the Mufflex 14 installed. I installed the Mufflex back in August and just had the resonators cut off and swapped with pipe just last week. As you can guess, the Mufflex 14 is loud. Not exactly a Flowmaster 40, but close. Without the Sport resonators the Mufflex is a tad louder, but not that much. One thing I have noticed since removing the resonators is that the highway drone and gurrgle in and out of MDS seems to be a lot less. Overall I'm very happy with the change and it was well worth the $60 I paid the muffler shop.

I broke down and removed the entire pipe resonator and all and put a 12" long pipe and clamped a down pipe. i may be seeing a little difference in mpg but thats it you can definitly tell when the MDS kicks in, but the sound stayed the same.

When I bought my truck the previous owner put a Magnaflow 44 on it. I love the sound (not sure the neighbours do) but the drone at 100km/h is deafening. Is there any way to quiet it down a bit without replacing the muffler?
