Where can I find a nice navi system with back up camera and how much.would i be looking at spending/

The factory replacement would be ideal, but I would go to your local stereo shop, and by stereo shop I don't mean Best Buy or Sears or Pep Boys. Ask them questions about how they install, have they done anything with the new '09s yet. They should solder all connections and explain the process. That shows quality. It's worth the extra money.

I would guess depending on the unit, anywhere from 1500-2000ish installed. If you are the first '09, they should give a break on the install since they will be learning from it and using your truck to do so.

Make sure the shop or at least one of there installers is MECP (Mobile Electronics Certified Professional) certified. It means they have gone training and passed the tests.

I used to be one about 5-6 years ago and I wouldn't attempt it myself. Been out of the game to long to know how things like airbags and the all the new computers will effect the install.

check my thread on my install of the AVIC-F700BT that i installed in my truck. it will give you some insight on what is involved and several of the pitfalls
