1. 50lb fishing line
2. hair drier
3. goo gone

and they will be off in just minutes... soak em down and get behind them with the line after heating them up and it will be a snap. after you get your badges off.. i found just using my thumb i could pull the left over stuff off easy.. although after i was done someone said the end of a pencil (eraser part) worked good also

3m Adhesive Remover works wonders. I got some in behind the badge and let it soak in for a bit before I took the heat gun and fishing line to my badges, came off relatively well considering they'd been on the truck 2 years already and the rest of the residue wiped right off with the adhesive remover and a microfiber.
