I hated the Goodyear Wrangler HP's. Had them off within 1,000 miles. Sold them on CL for $500. And so far I'm very happy with my Cooper Zeon LTZs (305/50/20).

Also, the 20's did come with 2 different tires. One was a summer tire (HPs I believe) and the other was an all-season tire which was $125 extra.

Also, I like BFG ATs. They have done great on my wife's H3. Quiet but have great traction. They were just a bit pricey and for the price difference I can live with the Coopers.

The Goodyear HPs are a very depressing tire at best. They slip and spin in wet dirt (wouldn't even call it mud) and on wet roads I can spin the daylights out of them by just barely pressing the gas even with ESP still active. Also not sure if it is the tires or just the power of the truck but I can roast all 4 tires in 4x4 from a dead start. But I will suffer thru them until I have worn them out and then get some real tires.

It will be hard to roast ALL 4 considering the front axle has an open diff. This is assuming one has a limited slip in the back.

I am not trying to be a party pooper, but hey, its true.

I hate the goodyears I have; I had the same tires in another truck and feel the same way. They are not bad snow tires at all, but are horrible in mud. Can't wait to replace them with General Grabber AT2s. Best all-around tire I ever owned; I was getting ready to buy another set for my f150 before I traded it. Tread nearly identical to BFG A/T KO at a fraction of the cost.
