Tonneau Covers
I replied to your original thread but obviously it did not save.
Anyways I am a big fan of the Truxedo Lo Pro cover! Had one on my 07 and bought the same one for my 09 without hesitation. Did not even consider looking for a different one!

Another thing is they made it completely tool free for their new covers. Goes on even faster. Better clamps..
I had a hard cover on my '98 Dak. I liked it, but was a hastle to get off when I needed to haul. Was heavy as hell too, I know they have light ones now. It was hard to find a place to store it too.
That is my opinion for the Truxedo..
I agree, I just bought a Low Profile Tuxedo for my '09. I have one on my '04 Dak too. Didn't consider anything else. My friend who sells the stuff says they are one of the better companies. As a matter of fact, my Dak cover wasn't fitting quite right and asked my friend to talk to a Truxedo rep. One week later I had a new top. NO questions asked. They didn't even want the old one back.. Now I have a spare for the Dak.

You drive a silver 09 ram? as Do I.
do you have pics with the cover on?
EDIT - - - I went to the local truck shop and picked out a Low pro Truxedo. Anyone have any pros and cons about these? I was shown how tough the fabric is and how it only unrolls when i unlock my tailgate. I was impressed. So i said sure but its on back order and they will have it in stock mid next week. The install charge is $36.00. Truxedo says it only takes about 10 minutes to install as it has clamps and such so i may just do it myself.

that Pace Edwards Full metal jacket SURE IS PURDIEST in my opinion .. but $1,300 bucks ??? Man NO way ... and as short as the crew cab box is already .. that canister the cover rolls into SURE does look like it takes up a lot of room in the box ... how bout some pics with it retracted and measurements on the space the canister takes up ???
thanks
thanks
I went with an ebay one.......Craftec brand made in USA. It is like a hard topper the whole thing opens with rams and its removeable easily. Some issues but they made good on them(nothing worth mentioning) only 259 US free delivery in the states, I had it deliver to UPS hold for pickup save brokerage and I live across from Detroit so I saved 50 bucks plus what brokerage would have been. Not only that customs didn't pull me in and I had that and some other items worth 60 US. Was a good day except assembly was a long day. Only thing I don;t like is the box shape makes a rectangular cover look crooked Will post pic when it stops raining or snowing so I can get it clean first.
