Stock is 275/60/20 but why are people going with 305/50/20?
I've decided to buy the Cooper Zeon LTZ's. Nothing but good comments on these tires.
As the title asks, what does the 305/50/20 give me? Wider stance?
On Coopers website, they only list 305/55/20. They are significantly more expensive than the stock size.
If Mopar offers a small lift kit I would like to lift 2" in the future. Only interested in a factory authorized lift so I don't have to argue warranty issues.
How would a future lift possible play into the two sizes I mentioned above on tires?
Thanks everyone! I plan on ordering Thursday or Friday.

A 305/50/20 is wider and shorter than the 275/60/20. This means more rubber to the ground resulting in better traction and they went shorter because of the clearance needed in the wheel well with a wider tire or Cooper's height measurements is slightly different than the Goodyears.. Or for looks...
First number is width, second is "height" percentage of tread on sidewall, third is rim size

305/50/20 = 32" Diameter
275/60/20 = 33" Diameter
275/55/20 = 32" Diameter (which I have and don't look quite right, as they are a bit too small)
With the 305's being 1.2" wider, they probably look better, as they would "bulge" more than the 275's would on the 9" wide wheels.

Does any body have a picture of the Cooper Zeon LTZ's on their truck in the stock size of 275/60/20
I will do some more searching but it would be helpful if some ould provide a picture or link to one.

that's pretty jacked up. Use a member on this forums truck picture to show what doesn't look right. Alot of people think your truck doesn't look right and they keep their mouth shut and their opinions to themselves. You would be better off if you did the same, it's a common courtesy afforded to all who visit this site...
