Default very first single output Mufflex kit

Went to Mufflex today where they prototyped my truck for the single output kits they'll be making soon. Went with a 14" muffler; the sounds are more subtler on the single. Just a muffler swap; left the resonator in place. I'd liken it to the 18" dual out videos I've seen, but the tone is a little different. MDS drone is noticeable, especially when it's on the point of kicking back into 8 cyl. and is lugging a bit, but is not nearly as bad as I would have expected with this muffler. The mufflex guys were happy with that aspect as well; they said they've heard flowmasters that sound like they had a bunch of golf ***** in them. I can best describe it as like a manual tranny that's in a touch too high of a gear. A bit louder and deeper, but not that nasty 'popping' I was afraid of. But, I love it so far. I took a quick startup/takeoff vid, but can't find the camera cable to upload it. The Mufflex guys did some video, but I don't know when they'll get around to posting it. The interior tone (aside from that one point in MDS) is wonderful.

Flowblaster 40's really DO "sound like they have a bunch of golf ***** in them"!
