Came with the military $500 incentive from Chrysler.
Did Chrysler send you the free oil change coupons or did the dealer give them to you when you purchased the truck for being military? I served a few years as well, and used the military rebate. Just did not who I should beat up to get the oil change coupons? Also, how long of a period of time were you to get free oil changes?

Soop, Thanks for the clarification on the free oil changes. I will be talking with the dealer.

Default Not synthetic

Free oil changes good perhaps, but free oil is always crap oil.

Now if the dealer were giving away free full synthetic oil changes, thats another stroy

True - I had considered taking the oil of my choice to them and taking the free labor, but I am sure they won't agree. The other catch is the 3k mile frequency... do we really think oil changes are needed every 3k miles still?

I got 6 30$ ( I think they were 30$) coupons for oil changes. I will change my oil myself since I know exactly what I am doing to the truck. I hate letting dealerships touch it. Warranty work is one thing, but almost everything else I do myself.

Sorry for the late response. What Soop said.

My dealer stated that I could do this (give them the synthetic to install) or they would just charge me the difference in cost.

If they are good enough to tear into my truck for warranty, they can surely change the oil...................for free.
