I am having troubles getting my mp3's from my USB to my REN. I have used a couple different thumb drives and I can't get any of them to work. I have read the manual and I transfer the mp3's from my computer to the thumb drive. I follow all of the directions and when I go to the "My Music" section of the hard drive, I see all of the songs that I have uploaded from my thumb drive. No matter how I selec the song from the REN menu whether it be by artist, song, it does not play the song. If I search by playlist, it has the playlist titled as USB Root File. Can someone tell me what I am doing wrong.

 

What operating system are you using? I'm not sure if it will recognize any Mac or Linux-specific file systems.

If it's Windows, I'd recommend doing a full format of the USB drive (right-click -> Format -> uncheck "perform a quick format"). This will check for errors. Also make sure Windows recognizes its full capacity. I had a 2GB drive go bad on me that Windows recognized as 320MB.
