The one I saw on the web is a plug 'n play type, no wiring. So if you had to take it in for warranty work, couldnt you just take it out?

(Of course, your warranty wont be affected if the work your are taking the truck in for has nothing to do with the stereo/nav electronics, right?)

Cool

Nope, It doesn't void the warranty.

I have had my radio swapped 2 times already with the lock pick installed in the truck. They didn't even mention it other than saying that the backup camera was really nice.

Here is the one a coworker showed me.

The site explains all the capabilities.

I have a lockpick on my MyGig, it's all handled by the lockpick module, there is no lasting modification to the radio. If you take it off it will work just like it did before you put it in (though in my case that would be not at all since I'm using the lockpick adapter to run the MyGig in my '05 ).

It allows access to all functions while driving including DVD playback and full use of the nav (if it's a nav model). You can add a backup camera (or other cameras if you wanted), video input, etc... There's a whole long list on their site. Easy as pie to install the hardest part is finding somewhere to stick or zip tie the lockpick module back there.

Why'd you need yours swapped out twice already? Which stereo do you have?

I'm thinking about the Lockpic or Allgig..

I've heard from a lot of people that the service from the AllGig folks is much much better. I think I'm going to go that route.
