Received my 14" Mufflex single exhaust by UPS today. Took all of about 30 minutes to install. Sounds good but not nearly as loud as a Flowmaster. I hope it gets louder over time.

Whoa, now I'm getting scared... My 18 inch Mufflex is shipping today. I wanted to keep the cabin of the truck as "droneless" as possible and still have some nice sound to the exhaust. The 14 is too quiet? How is the drone at 60 mph?

Mine will be a single out as well...

Haven't drove it on the highway yet. Just went down the road and back about 30mph. Didn't notice much noise in the cab. I've always had Flowmasters in the past and am just used to hearing the loud exhaust.

BubbaRadioNetwork, can you let me know how you like the sound after you open it up. I read somewhere that the Mufflex will get louder over time. I'm looking into getting the 14 inch as well.

Thanks

Took the truck out today and wound it up. Lots of noise in the cab! I had the windows down yesterday and didn't notice much noise in the cab. Has a nice tone to it. Much better than any Flowmaster I have had. 1atom12 I think you will be pleased with the 18". The 14" is probably too loud for you if you want the cab quiet. The only bad noise I hear at 60 mph is when the MDS kicks on. Reminds me of a jake brake. lol kleezy I would go with the Mufflex. I have no regrets. There are links to the dual and single exhaust videos on here.

I could be wrong, but I don't think the stock exhuast is SS. So that would be another plus to buying the Mufflex kit. I've heard nothing but good things about them. I'm definitely goin with the 14 for mine.
