Not sure about other brands but Dodge has been doing that for years with the window stickers. When I ordered my '98 1500 Ext Cab it came with the personalized window sticker.

 

hmmm..i didnt know that. the first time that i saw it was on a few new 300C srt8s i saw online.

 

I remember the day it came in. A guy I work with came in for 2nd shift and told me my truck was in, lol. He was at the dealership looking at trucks and saw my name on the window sticker of the one that caught his eye. A little while later I got the call from the dealer telling me the truck was in.

 

I can get some pics tomorrow, but the truck will most likely be dirty, it's taking forever for the damn snow to melt here (I guess that's a good thing though as it keeps the flooding to a min)

The Sunburst Orange is available the US, this is the color I was going to get after seeing it at the dealer down the road from my house. Wife likes the Inferno Red better, but you can't get the rambox with the sunburst color, so my on order truck is also inferno red.

 

Opps, I meant available as a sunburst orange sport modle. They had one down at Mission Dodge on IH35 about 6 miles from my house. Sucks though you can't get the rambox in that color or I would have one here around the 20th.

 

I noticed that after I posted. But not in a RC sport config. RC has black, red, inferno, silver, mineral, blue and white.

 

But what if you got 12 - 15k off one that was in stock? Would that not make it worth your while?

 

No. Why pay 20+K if it is not what you want?
