does the ram1500 crewcab qualify for the section 179 tax depreciation? i know it weighs more than 6000lbs but the bed is under 6ft long.

The quad cab qualifies to the max. dollar amount. The Crewcab since it is less than 6 foot bed is limited to $25K plus the bonus.

still not bad since you can pcik up a fully loaded for low to mid 30K

You need to know about it if you are self employed or have a business that you file a schedule C on. I bought my 09 Ram on 12-31-08 and filed 100% business use for the year. It saved me $4K on my taxes.
