Shoot for that matter the plain stock system sounds ok, I listened to it and the Alpine and found very little difference in the two. Just put in a nice little sub and you would be very hardpressed to tell them apart.

Would love to do a full on aftermarket system, but just see the money being better spent else where at this time. Oh and by that statement I mean else where other then on the truck.

So question here gang,

I have the basic sound system in my TRX, can i get the factory OEM upgrade? Will this fit mine, or does mine need to have the pioneer sound system to begin with,.

The upgraded Alpine system is alright, but it has practically 0 bass. I love the JL 10w6's. Great sub choice. I had one in my Ranger Reg. cab years ago and it was awesome.

I'd love to see pics when it's done. Care to disclose price?

For the price you would pay the OEM upgrade, you could probably get a nicer aftermarket system if you do it yourself

did you buy the truck with it already on as a package? if you try to add it seperately after you buy the truck, it costs a lot more

Meh, I have never really been impressed with any kind of premium sound group offered from the factory on any vehicle I have ever been in, but most of that stems from going to too many sound offs as a teenager. I am to the point that any new vehicle I get in the near future will have $1000 set aside for the sole purpose of upgrading the audio.
