Default Went to my car audio shop today to configure my system.

Had lots of work done by these guys over the years and they always do a great job. They have five stores and a custom shop. The custom shop is a warehouse type place where they house all their stock for the stores and they do their custom work. In other words, its not a store front.

So what we came up with is:

Fiberglass two 10w6-v2 under the seats. Enclosure will be painted to match the truck (Brilliant Black Crystal Pearl Coat) highlighted by a blue LED. Amps will be mounted/displayed side by side between the subs. These will be powered by a JL Audio HD750/1

Fronts and rears will get ZR650-csi components powered by a HD600/4.

I'm keeping the uconnect GPS factory head unit. To do this they may use the JL Audio Clean Sweep. The installer needs to call JL and talk to them about the frequencys that the Alpine system uses?

Of course, there is all the other stuff, RCA's, AMP install kits ect...

I will talk to the installer on Tuesday to see what he found out.

I just love having a great sound system in my vehicles!

Default good tunes

You should have just gone with the factory Kicker system with the sub. In a pickup that would have to be enough no? Anyway let me know how it all turns out and how much and how clean of an install.

How big of a PIA is it to get to the back of the head unit? I look at these rams, and think my god that would be a bitch to get behind the dash....

How much?

Did you listen to the factory upgraded sound system? I love a good sound system, and the stock upgrade seems sufficient to me. I wouldn't mind a better system, but this one will do until I get bored and decide to add stuff to the truck.

Here's are a couple of pics from my last installs. 99 Ford Mustang GT and 2006 Dodge Daytona Charger.

The Alpine system sounds good for the person who has not had or is not interested in aftermarket high end systems.

All I know is once I had a professionally installed, tuned system, there was no turning back!

I just love jamming music in my vehicles! I love the hard hitting base!

Having the system professionally installed and "tuned" is what makes the difference between some kid with a box in his trunk vibrating the cars next to him and a premium, unbelievable sound system!
