If it only has 300 rwhp then wth does everything else have?

I beat an old 5.0 mustang,

I beat a 5.7l toyota tundra,

I beat a chevrolet deisel reprogrammed with a superchip flashpaq and 4 inch banks exhaust.

I know tuner cars arent **** cause they can teven keep up to 100.

and I just smoked an 08 stang gt on the way home the other day.

and when Im to the floor my tires squeal when my tranny shifts into second gear.

So how are we only getting three hundred rwhp when I havent gone up against a vehicle that can make the ram its bitch yet?

Not all of them, just most of them...

sorry let me rephrase that all of the kids and middle aged kids that ride around in south texas with the crappy mufflers and turbos that sound like their choking a cat, can barely get it up to 100.

I knew what you meant.

If it is turbo'd the right way, we don't have a chance.

I'm telling you what this particular dyno said about this particular truck. I've also mentioned something about how this particular dyno is known to give low results. You can put two and two together and come up with a result, but I'm not gonna say the dyno gave a result higher than it did. Don't lose your mind because you don't agree with the results and you've beaten every other vehicle under the sun. I happen to think you're probably right, that these trucks do in fact make more, but I can only state the result I got.

I agree with you. Dyno's are known to be different form each other, plus our drive train sucks up a bunch of HP.

After some spirited driving today, I know I have 390 HP...

I wasnt attacking your statements just stateing my results, because I was surprised at the low numbers you got.

15 - 20% loss is normal. Manufacturers always state HP/torque at the crank, which is not the same as at the rear wheels. The numbers stated are about right.

And you apparently haven't been up against anyone that's a decent driver. Unfortunately a Tundra can beat our Ram. An '08 GT will have no problem spanking our Ram. And I know about 20 people that have cars which can BLOW MY RAM AWAY. Maybe you need to come to Austin and meet them?

Thats crazy, i thought dynojets showed higher gains. My tuner uses a mustang dyno, so my numbers are about 10% less than what a dynojet would show. I had the same problem hitting the speed limiter while tuning. My tuner had to disable it to keep it in 4th to make a decent pull. Our speed limiter is controlled by a fuse under the hood, but it will throw a code that has to be cleared later. Maybe there is something similar in your ram.
