Will your new 09 1500 Crew Cab fit in the garage?
Length for me is no problem as I can get it in either side. The side where the motorcyles are parked it fits with an inch to spare on each end. It is the height where I have an issue. It only clears with about an inch or so to spare. The 4X4 that I really wanted would clear the door but likely hit the door opener or arm. My garage is in the basement and therefore the doors are really short.
I hit the lock button on the remote with the window down and unlocked the truck and opened the door and nothing happened. I can not believe this would not be a standard option on a $38,000 truck?
I even checked the sticker and did not see anything about alarm, go figure. I guess I will need to make a trip to Car Toys to have a damn alarm installed also!

I guess I will need to make a trip to Car Toys to have a damn alarm installed also!I ordered an alarm with mine because it's a part of the remote start option. It was only around $300. I don't see any benifits exspecially financial to not installing them standard.
I measured my old truck ('99 F-150 supercab) and compared it w/ the specs on the new Ram Quad cab, so I knew it would fit before I bought it. However, I didn't realize how wide the mirrors are on the Ram; Thankfully it still fits, but I sure don't have much wiggle room on the sides.
I'm jealous. We're definitely building our next house (already have most of it laid out) and I'm building a monster garage.
